Late Arrivals

The time that you schedule at Ella Lawrence Treatment Rooms is reserved for you alone. We know how important your time is and take that seriously meaning we never over-book or double-book clients and therefore keep on schedule. We’re rarely able to accommodate clients who arrive in excess of 15 minutes late or add additional services to a scheduled appointment.

Are We a vegan & cruelty-free salon?

We are indeed! All our nail treatments, wax, tint and aftercare products are vegan & cruelty-free. We also try to make eco-conscious decisions wherever possible including using biodegradable towels, recycled toilet paper & refilling our cleaning products with refills. We also sell Vegan products we love.

Cancellations & No Shows

Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment please provide at least 24hrs ‘ notice to avoid a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of the scheduled service. Clients who “no show” will be charged the full value of the treatment. We are aware this may seem strict however we cannot stress how damaging no-shows are to a small business such as ours. If you need to cancel an appointment please call the salon or if it is outside our opening hours, please email us.

Do the Ella Lawrence Treatment Rooms do group bookings such as work events, Hen parties or birthday parties?

We absolutely do, we love hosting events in our space or yours! Because of our size, we can accommodate a party of up to 6, you will have exclusive use of the treatment rooms at no extra cost. Please email if you would like to enquire about this, we would recommend booking at least 3 months in advance for group bookings.

Nail Art Designs

If you would like nail art with your manicure please select the appropriate treatment when booking. If you are not sure which to book feel free to get in touch and we can advise. You are more than welcome to bring a photo of your chosen design on the day, in addition to seeing what designs our team have created on either on our Instagram @EllaLawrenceTreatmentRooms

Removals

Please do let us know if you require any Gel Polish removal before your treatment otherwise we may not have time to carry out your full treatment, arriving with normal polish is fine. Please be aware that we do not remove any form of extensions (acrylic or gel) at the Ella Lawrence Treatment Rooms

Do I still need a patch test if I regularly get tinting?

We would still require a patch test in this situation as every brand of tint is different and just because you are okay with one brand it doesn’t necessarily mean you would be with ours. Please be aware that any salon that doesn’t require a tint test won’t be insured against any adverse reactions.

Do you accept walk-ins?

As a general rule, we are appointment only, we would always advise booking in advance as we get exceptionally busy, however we do occasionally have gaps & cancellations so it is always worth trying to call or pop in if you see that I am free.

Do the Ella Lawrence Treatment Rooms offer gift vouchers?

Yes, we do offer gift vouchers. They are valid towards any treatment for 12 months and will be posted either directly to the recipient or to yourself. Please select the “gift voucher” in our e-boutique to purchase a voucher or if you would prefer one of our physical gift vouchers to gift to someone you are welcome to pop into the treatment rooms to collect one.

Are the Ella Lawrence Treatment Rooms wheelchair friendly?

The treatment rooms are sadly not wheelchair friendly, however I am more than happy to come to you after consultation for suitable treatments.

Do the Ella Lawrence Treatment Rooms run a loyalty scheme?

All our treatments are available to purchase in “bundles” upfront. What this means is if you buy 5 Gel Manicures (for example) upfront you will get a 6th manicure for free! So you essentially save 20% on each manicure. If you would like to purchase a bundle simply mention it when you are paying for the treatment, there is no need to let us know in advance.

Can I bring my child with me to my appointment?

We kindly request that no children be brought to the treatment rooms for your appointment. We are unable to provide childcare supervision for children ourselves. We want your appointment to be as relaxing or fun as it can, or that essential ‘me time’. It also allows me to focus solely on you and your treatments, being mindful of how long your appointment will be, and that in some sessions you will be unable to use your hands or feet easily during your appointment.

How old do you need to be for the Ella Lawrence Treatment Rooms?

We can offer you all our treatments if you are 16 and older.

Do you have parking for The Ella Lawrence Treatment Rooms?

We are really lucky to have parking nearby in one of the two Wiveliscombe car parks. Parking requires change if you are visiting the treatment rooms (pay on arrival at the car park). The car parks are Croft Way Car Park, Wiveliscombe, Taunton TA4 2JR & 24 North St, Wiveliscombe, Taunton TA4 2LJ. Please do not park on the road to the Salon as you are liable to get fined.
